About the event

Dr. Douglas Tallamy is an American entomologist, ecologist and conservationist.  He is a Professor in the Department of Entomology and Wildlife Ecology at the University of Delaware.   

Tallamy advocates for home garends and landscaping that bridge the gaps between parks and preserves in providing habitat for more native species.  He has spoke on the connections between plants and insets and how those relationships are important to the flourishing of bird cultures.  He has called for smarter lawns.
